Angelo Moratti is founder and president of Angel Capital Management, a leading private investment firm mainly focused on fast growing Consumer & Lifestyle companies. Moratti also serves as vice president of The Saras Group, whose operation was launched by Angelo Moratti in 1961. The Saras Group, a leading Italian and European crude oil refiner, works in the energy industry, selling and distributing petroleum products in the domestic and international markets. The Group also operates in electric power production and sale through the Sarlux and Parchi Eolici Ulassai joint-ventures.

Moratti is also the vice president of Special Olympics International, an international organisation dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities to become physically fit, productive, and respected members of society through sports training and competition. Moratti is also the founder and former chairman of E-PLANET, a major telecommunication Italian Operator, which went public on the Italian Stock Exchange at the beginning of May 2000.

Moratti formerly served as a member of the board of Inter Milan Football Club, a major football team in Italy. He also formerly served as chairman and member of the board of Associazione Amici del Centro Dino Ferrari, an association supporting the research for neurodegenerative diseases founded by Enzo Ferrari in memory of his son, Dino.
