Today is Africa Day! This year’s theme is strengthening resilience in nutrition and food security on our continent.

Between 1,500 – 2,000 languages are spoken across Africa!

Khabane “Khaby” Lame is from Senegal! This Senegalese-Italian content creator is currently the most followed TikTok user, with  123.3 million followers.

3. What are some of the most popular fruits eaten across Africa?
Apricots, bananas, coconuts and watermelon are among the most popular fruits eaten across the continent!

4. Which food group is widely eaten across Africa due to its abundance and low cost to produce?
Cereal grains. However, the recent war in Ukraine has disrupted supplies and increased prices of imported rice, wheat and corn, thereby threatening food security.

South Africa. But did you know that the average income per head in Africa is $12?
