Win Sheridan co-founded APEX Systems, an information technology staffing and consulting company, in 1995 and he served as Co-CEO during his tenure there. Under his leadership, APEX grew to over 700 million in revenues before selling to ASGN, a publicly-traded IT professional services company. Since that time, he has served as a director on the board of ASGN and remains the company’s largest individual shareholder.
Through BDW, Sheridan has invested in many early stage companies including BASH Boxing Fitness, EverFi, Upskill, Clowder, ThreatQuotient, FAIR, IronNet and Sweetgreen, to name a few. He actively mentors and consults for many of the companies he invests in. In addition, Sheridan and his partners from APEX created the APEX Center for Entrepreneurs at Virginia Tech University where he currently serves as chairman of the board.
He also serves on the boards of other non-profit organizations including PeacePlayers International, an international community improvement and leadership organization that unites and educates children and their communities in areas of conflict, ThanksUSA, which helps veterans pay for their children’s educations, and Gonzaga College High School in Washington, DC.
