WASHINGTON – The ONE Campaign released the following statement on the departure of Tom Hart, currently President of ONE, who will be taking on a new role as President and CEO of InterAction on December 4, 2023.

“Tom has been with ONE since day one and the impact he has had on the organization and our work has been profound,” said Gayle Smith, CEO of The ONE Campaign. “Tom played a big part in the efforts of some of the most catalytic moments of US leadership in the fight against extreme poverty and preventable disease: debt cancellation, the creation of PEPFAR, and US investments that have provided millions of children access to education and improved access to affordable electricity across Africa.  

“His list of accomplishments can only be outdone by his immense passion for our mission, our people, and the activists around the world who help make it all happen.
