ONE reacts to McCarthy proposal to cut global aid funding
WASHINGTON — The ONE Campaign released the following statement in response to a Dear Colleague letter on State and Foreign Operations issued by the House Republican Leader.

“It’s reckless to use global programs that keep us safe and help fight disease as a bartering chip. These programs have long had bipartisan support – including in the President’s own budget. Worse yet, this political gimmick is delaying funding for vital domestic and global programs to stem the aftershocks of this pandemic.”
