WASHINGTON– The ONE Campaign released the following statement on President Biden’s proposed FY 2023 budget, which includes a $2 billion annual pledge to the Global Fund to Fight Aids, TB, and Malaria.

“This is exactly the kind of leadership we need to get the global fight against preventable disease back on track. 

“In 20 years, the Global Fund has saved millions of lives and made tremendous progress against AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria– progress that the COVID-19 pandemic has put in jeopardy. A $2 billion annual investment sets us up to recover ground lost during the last two years and continue our efforts to end AIDS, TB, and malaria by arming everyone, everywhere with the lifesaving tools and treatments needed to eradicate these pandemics and prepare for those to come.
