WASHINGTON — The ONE Campaign released the following statement welcoming Sean Cairncross as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Millennium Challenge Corporation.

Its mission remains essential. That’s why it’s critical for the organization to have a strong leader at the helm to continue the agency’s mission of helping people lift themselves out of poverty and articulate its immense contributions — especially as some leaders are questioning the value of America’s development programs.
