WASHINGTON — The ONE Campaign issued the below statement today in response to the White House announcement that the US has shared more than 100 million vaccine doses globally and reportedly plans to hold a global COVID-19 summit this fall.

With COVID-19 raging globally and new variants emerging constantly, wealthy countries face a clear choice: share more doses and shorten the pandemic or continue to hoard doses and prolong COVID-19 indefinitely.
