Rodney joins the ONE Campaign with deep congressional – including bicameral and leadership office – and advocacy professional experience. Most recently, Rodney was the Deputy Director of Government Relations at the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition where he led advocacy initiatives to strengthen America’s global leadership and reinforce bipartisan support for smart and strategic investments in U.S. diplomacy and international assistance programs.

On Capitol Hill, Rodney served as an aide to Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer, where he was responsible for advancing the Leader’s legislative agenda including bolstering global development and economic assistance programs. Additionally, Rodney served as the Foreign Affairs Legislative Assistant to Representative Colin Allred – leading his work on the House Foreign Affairs Committee – spearheading efforts to protect human rights and improve lives around the world.

Born in Kampala, Uganda he holds a Master’s degree in International Economic Development from the George Washington University and a Bachelor’s in International Affairs from the University of Georgia.

Rodney has two cats – Cheeto and Ruffles – whom he cares for deeply.
