Najiba Sardar is a longtime Canadian organizer with deep roots in community engagement, based in Toronto, Ontario. Her advocacy journey began at the University of Toronto Students’ Union, where she served as Vice-President Equity, leading impactful student initiatives across multiple campuses. 

She has held key roles in the provincial government and various NGOs. Most notably, as an Outreach Officer for Ontario’s Official Opposition, the New Democratic Party, she spearheaded electoral campaigns and trained thousands of activists across Canada. 

At ONE, Najiba oversees Canada’s supporter initiatives and digital advocacy campaigns. In June 2024, she launched the country’s first nationwide Global Activist program. 

Most importantly, whenever Najiba arrives in a new city, she pulls up a list of Anthony Bourdain-approved restaurants and recreates his food trail. 

Najiba holds an M.A. in Globalization Studies from McMaster University and an Hon. B.A. in Political Science and Diaspora and Transnational Studies from the University of Toronto.
