Justin McAuley is a battle-tested communications strategist, military veteran, and recovering political operative currently serving as Director of Communications (North America) at ONE.
From briefing everyone from world leaders to generals and journalists, Justin has spent his career at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and national service. He’s helped shape political campaigns, steer media narratives, and advise senior leaders, always with one eye on the message and the other on impact.
Before joining ONE, Justin built a boutique communications consultancy and entertainment business from the ground up. He’s also served in government, on community boards, as well as in uniform, where he learned how to think quickly, lead clearly, and pack light.
Today, Justin leads ONE’s North American communications team, working to shift the narrative on Africa, drive bold investments in global health and economic development, and make sure Canada and the U.S. show up on the world stage. He’s based in the Thousand Islands, and is always up for a strong message, a smart campaign, or a strategic pivot.
