Berlin, 11 September 2025. The ONE Campaign has appointed new leadership for its offices in Germany and France. Lisa Ditlmann has been named ONE’s new Germany Director, while Khalil Elouardighi will take on the role of France Director. Both will also join ONE’s European Leadership Team (ELT). 

Stephan Exo-Kreischer, Executive Director, Europe, of ONE, said: “At a time when international cooperation is under increasing pressure, it is crucial to have strong voices for development in both Germany and France. Lisa and Khalil bring exactly that: expertise, energy, and commitment. With their leadership, I am confident that ONE will continue to hold governments accountable to their promises and keep development high on the political agenda.” 

Lisa Ditlmann, ONE’s new Germany Director, said: “I am grateful for this new challenge. Especially now, as the headwinds grow stronger, I believe it is more important than ever that Germany keeps its promises to people around the world who are less fortunate than we are. My role will be to remind policymakers of these commitments – in the press, through creative campaigns, and in direct conversations.” 

Khalil Elouardighi, ONE’s new France Director, said: “Joining ONE is an opportunity to put my energy and convictions into a project that is more urgent than ever: building a fairer, more stable, and safer world. This is in everyone’s interest. I am convinced that France can continue to be innovative in this field – and I look forward to spreading that message with determination together with the France team.” 

Background 

• Lisa Ditlmann has been leading ONE Germany’s Berlin team since March 2025 and officially became Country Director on 1 July. She previously headed ONE’s campaigns team in Berlin and has extensive experience in advocacy and campaigning, including work with Transparency International in Berlin and South Africa. She studied international relations and political economy in Paris and Berlin and holds a Master’s degree from Freie Universität Berlin. 

• Khalil Elouardighi brings fifteen years of experience at the intersection of politics, global health, and sustainable development. Before joining ONE, he led the think tank Think Equal, supporting the Brazilian and South African G20 presidencies in climate and development negotiations. He previously directed programs at the Institut du développement durable et des relations internationales (IDDRI) and for a decade led the advocacy department of the NGO coalition PLUS, focused on global health and the fight against AIDS in Africa.
