The ONE Campaign is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Cole to the role of Executive Director, Europe. He will join on 25 February and lead ONE’s advocacy and campaigning strategies in major European donor markets, notably the UK, France, Germany and EU institutions. Tim is a senior British diplomat and most recently the UK’s Migration Envoy. He has extensive international experience both in the diplomatic service and in the international development sector, where he began his career with Christian Aid and Save the Children working in several African countries on development and humanitarian programmes. As a diplomat he has served as the UK’s Ambassador to Cuba, and Deputy Ambassador to Zimbabwe and Mozambique, as well as heading the UK’s Pan-Africa Policy Unit.
