About ONE in Brussels

ONE in Brussels: Powering Change in the EU

At the heart of the European Union,
ONE’s Brussels team is on a mission:
to unlock economic opportunity and
champion global health across Africa.

We don’t just watch policy happenwe shape it. By engaging directly with EU and national decision-makers, we turn political processes into platforms for justice.

Whether it’s a high-level European Council summit, a razor-thin vote in Parliament, or new legislative proposal from the European Commission, ONE shows up. Persistent. United. Focused on impact. We ensure that the fight for a fairer, healthier world isn’t just a talking point, it’s a political priority.

Powered by people

Change does not happen behind closed doors alone. It happens when people demand it. Our team works hand-in-hand with partners and stakeholders across the EU, fueled by our flagship network:

ONE Youth Ambassadors

Every year, over 100 Youth Ambassadors from across Belgium, Italy, France, Germany and the Netherlands join our movement. They are part of a global force of 1,000+ advocates across Africa, Europe, and North America. These activists don’t just volunteer, they amplify. They engage directly with policymakers, lead public actions, and create the creative content that makes our message unmissable.

Our Supporters

Beyond our formal networks, thousands of supporters across the EU add their voices at critical moments. They turn public pressure into political will by contacting decision-makers, signing open letters, and mobilizing during legislative milestones.
