Doug leads ONE’s US Government Relations team. Before joining ONE, Doug was a three-decade veteran of Capitol Hill, where he served as General Counsel to the House Committee on Foreign Affairs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a career-long emphasis on human rights and refugee protection, Doug was involved with the drafting and negotiation of hundreds of bipartisan measures (including key foreign policy authorities and human rights laws), and handled bicameral committee negotiations for recurring annual appropriations and defense authorization bills.

A grateful husband, father, and grandfather, he also dabbles in the arts, and did the audio restoration and cover art for a recent release of historic jazz recordings that was named one of the “Top 10 Historical Albums of the Year” by DownBeat Magazine.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
