With so many lives at stake, we are grateful that elected officials from both sides of the aisle are stepping up to lead the global effort against this deadly disease.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond the immediate toll of the crisis, ONE is concerned about the long-term effects it will have on the health and development of affected countries.
