ONE President and CEO Michael Elliott released the following statement on the announcement of Mark Dybul as the new Executive Director of The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria:<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to congratulate Mark Dybul on his appointment as the Executive Director of The Global Fund. Mark is a dedicated doctor, a passionate global health advocate, and a deft politician who knows how to build consensus. At PEPFAR, he built bridges across party lines, between policymakers and activists, and between the U.S. and Africa. I know he will adopt a truly global approach and bring the best minds and hearts from across the world to drive forward the vital work of the Global Fund. We look forward to working with him in the months ahead to support the Global Fund\u2019s critical replenishment process next fall.\u201d<\/p>\n
