WASHINGTON \u2013 The ONE Campaign,\u00a0the global advocacy organization co-founded by U2 lead singer Bono to fight extreme poverty and preventable diseases,\u00a0has hired Elizabeth Hoffman as its new Executive Director for North America. Based out of ONE\u2019s headquarters in Washington, DC, Hoffman will oversee the organization\u2019s nationwide campaigns and advocacy efforts in both the United States and Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hoffman joins ONE from CSIS, where she served as Director of Congressional and Government Affairs. She previously served in leadership roles at the National Endowment for Democracy, the George W. Bush Institute, and as a longtime staffer in the U.S. House of Representatives. She is a term member at the Council of Foreign Affairs and a senior associate at CSIS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
