Its mission remains essential. That\u2019s why it\u2019s critical for the organization to have a strong leader at the helm to continue the agency\u2019s mission of helping people lift themselves out of poverty and articulate its immense contributions \u2014 especially as some leaders are questioning the value of America\u2019s development programs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cONE thanks the Senate for confirming Mr. Cairncross and other members of the Millennium Challenge Corporation Board of Directors.
