Swinehart will manage ONE\u2019s messaging, communications strategy and media engagement for the U.S. and Canada. She previously worked as a vice president at Edelman on the media services and strategy team, and as the director of media affairs for Speakers Paul Ryan and John Boehner. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cHaving an aggressive and well-crafted communications strategy can make a real difference confronting some of world\u2019s biggest challenges, including unprecedented threats to development programs that save lives, lift millions out of poverty and bring hope to millions,\u201d <\/span><b>said Tom Hart, North America executive director at The ONE Campaign. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cHiring someone of Sarah\u2019s experience and talents is an important part of ONE\u2019s ongoing efforts to help the world\u2019s poorest, prevent cuts to life-saving foreign assistance programs, and advance bipartisan legislation in Congress.
