Arancha Gonz\u00e1lez is Dean of the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA) at Sciences Po<\/strong> and the first woman to lead the world’s second school for Politics and International Studies.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to joining PSIA, Ms Gonz\u00e1lez served as Spain\u2019s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation (2020-2021). She previously was Assistant-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Director of the International Trade Centre (2013-2020). Between 2005 and 2013 she served as Chief of Staff to the Director-General of the World Trade Organization. Before that she held senior positions at the European Commission in the areas of international trade and development. Ms Gonz\u00e1lez started her career as a lawyer in the private sector. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Spanish national, Ms Gonz\u00e1lez holds a degree in law from the University of Navarra and a Master in European Law from the University Carlos III of Madrid. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
