Rana DiOrio is the Founder and Chief Executive Pickle of Little Pickle Press, a 21st century publisher of children’s media designed to catalyze meaningful conversations between adults and children. She is the author of an award-winning series of picture books that includes What Does It Mean to Be Global?, What Does It Mean to Be Green?, What Does It Mean to Be Present?, and What Does It Mean To Be Safe?. She has built a company that has become a certified B Corporation (http://bcorporation.net), a community of companies that strive to be the change they seek—environmentally friendly, humanitarian, and good to their employees. Little Pickle Press was recently honored as a Top Ten Best for the World B Corp with 10 employees or fewer.

She lives in San Francisco, CA with her three children.
