Emily McKhann believes deeply in the power of moms online to change the world. She is co-founder of The Motherhood, an award-winning digital PR and marketing firm that provides social media consulting, opinion research and marketing services to more than 150 blue chip companies and national non-profits, and includes a network of thousands of mom and dad bloggers.

Founded in 2006, The Motherhood has won multiple PRSA Awards, Web Awards, a Best of Blogs Award for Most Inspirational Blog of the Year and twice been a finalist for a Webby. Emily won the 2014 Enterprising Woman of the Year Award, and ABC News named Emily (with the ONE Moms) Person of the Week, Babble named her one of 25 Bloggers Who Are Changing the World and a Top 50 Mom on Pinterest, and Parents Magazine named her a Top Ten Power Mom on the Web.

Before launching The Motherhood, Emily worked for the Mayor of New York as Director of International Business and Acting Commissioner to the United Nations and Consular Corps. She co-authored the book Living with the End in Mind, published by Crown Books and featured on Oprah numerous times.

Emily lives with her husband and two daughters in Larchmont, NY
