It is critical that the G7 invest in development programs that will end extreme poverty globally, and specifically for women. Girls and women are hit hardest by poverty in every way. Being born poor and female can be a life sentence of inequality, oppression, and poverty. We all need to raise our voices together: Targeted investments towards girls and women help lift everyone out of poverty more quickly and are essential to winning the fight to end extreme poverty everywhere.
