“We the People” is a video project for people and our planet that YOU can help create. This effort is bringing together faces and voices from around the world for a film with the biggest cast ever—and you’re invited to join!
On September 25, the United Nations will commit to Global Goals to fight poverty, inequality, and injustice—and we want to tell the world.
Starting now, you can submit your contribution to the “We the People” film. Record yourself reading lines from the script (written by director Richard Curtis!), which talks about the Global Goals and their ambitions.
Speak up alongside influential people like Malala Yousafzai, Stephen Hawking, and Bill and Melinda Gates, as well as your favorite celebs—including One Direction, Jennifer Lawrence, and Meryl Streep!
Entries will be edited together using as many different faces and voices as possible into an amazing crowd-sourced video using footage from passionate contributors across the globe.
The final cut will be screened at the Global Citizen festival in New York City on September 26. Not in New York? Not to worry—the film will also be included in a one-hour TV special that will air in more than 20 countries.
