We The People: How celebs, activists, and YOU supported the Global Goals

We The People: How celebs, activists, and YOU supported the Global Goals

On September 25, the United Nations committed to 17 Global Goals to fight poverty, inequality, and injustice. But in order for the goals to succeed, we have to spread the word about them!

That’s why Project Everyone put together “We The People,” an amazing crowd-sourced video using footage from passionate contributors across the globe. People from around the world were asked to record themselves reading lines from the script (written by director Richard Curtis!), which talks about the Global Goals and their ambitions.

The entries were edited together using as many clips as possible—plus more than a few famous faces, including Chris Martin, Stephen Hawking, Meryl Streep, Kate Winslet, Malala Yousafzai, One Direction, Jennifer Lawrence, Bill Gates, Matt Damon, and many more!

Learn more about why the Global Goals are so important, then stand as ONE and help us turn words into action!
