If you’re like any of us in the ONE office, you may have gotten hooked on NPR’s newest brainchild, Serial. Now that the first season is over, we’re looking for something to fill our podcast-void. We turned to ONE’s rockstar policy and digital teams for podcast recommendations that will make us think about what is going on around the world. Here are the 5 podcasts on their “must listen” list:

Global Dispatches – Conversations on Foreign Policy and World Affairs (Mark Leon Goldberg)
Mark interviews influencers in foreign policy and hosts discussions with experts on topical issues in global affairs. Several ONE staffers have even been featured over the years! Episodes range from 5 minutes to an hour and 15 minutes.
Development Drums (Owen Barder)
This podcast takes an in-depth look at key issues in international development and global poverty. Highly recommended for policy folks. Episodes range from 20 minutes to an hour and 10 minutes.

The Foreign Desk at NPR chooses one top international story from other NPR programs to feature each day. Episodes range from 5 to 10 minutes long.
NPR: Goats and Soda (Available online)
If the name alone doesn’t fascinate you, then make sure to take a listen. The stories cover a broad range of issues all around the world, from Ebola to homesickness to floating toilets. Episodes are about 5 minutes long.
NPR: TED Radio Hour
The ever-so-popular TEDTalks challenge us to think, engage and innovate in new ways. NPR takes these listeners on a journey through a selected topic, incorporating TEDTalks along the way. Episodes are typically an hour long.
