The Senate Foreign Relations Committee is going to vote on the Electrify Africa Act, S. 1933, on THURSDAY morning. It’s the bill that will bring electricity to 50 million people in Africa for the first time.
Your senator is on that committee. So let’s make sure that your senator votes yes.
We wouldn’t be here today without everything you guys have done. From petitions and calls to letters and op-eds, all your work has kept the pressure on—and the senators keep telling me that that they’ve noticed the enormous support.
So in the next couple of hours, let’s flood senators’ offices with messages and let them know we want them to VOTE YES and help bring electricity to 50 million people in Africa for the very first time. The more constituents they hear from, the easier it will be for them to show their support.
We don’t have much time before the vote. Let’s do everything we can to get this bill passed.
You’re the best.
