How to take action with ONE on U2’s The Joshua Tree Tour

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of U2’s 1987 album, The Joshua Tree, the band is going on tour! ONE co-founder Bono and the rest of the group —  the Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen Jr. — are on the North American leg of the tour now. (See the full list of tour dates below.)

At each stop, concert goers will be able to take action with ONE. Don’t worry if you can’t make it to the show — you can take an action online, too! Just follow the links below:

Right now, 130 million girls around the world are being denied an education — and, because of that, the chance to reach their full potential. Our leaders can make sure all girls get an education, but we need to put pressure on them to act. So we’re asking you to help us count every single girl out loud. We’ll deliver your message directly to the people in power who can change these girls’ futures. Your count will join others as we try to make the world’s longest video.

Global leaders are being asked to crowdfund one of the biggest education funders in the world’s poorest countries. If they all chip in enough, it would mean that millions more girls will have the chance to complete a full 12 years of school. That’s a whole lot more educated girls who could go on to change the world. Sign this petition and let world leaders know you want them to prioritize girls’ education.

That’s TWO ways to take action in honor of ONE amazing show! Our volunteers can’t wait to see you!
