The old saying “a picture is worth a thousand words” is especially true when it comes to illustrating the narratives of people around the world–there truly is no better way to bring a story to life than through a photograph. That’s why, for his curation of ONE Girls and Women, Matt Damon has been sharing photos from water.org‘s programs around the world. First, he took us on a trip to Ethiopia to see how clean water transforms communities. Then, he shared photos from Indonesia, where water.org introduced a WaterCredit micro-finance program that empowers women and their families to access safe water and sanitation.
And this week, as the final chapter in this photo series, Matt Damon, and his water.org co-founder Gary White, bring us photos from India that capture the positive impact water.org has had on lives across the county.
