Congratulations to Angelique Kidjo on her big Grammy win!
She has been an active contributor to ONE’s mission, appearing in our Ebola PSA last fall, participating in the 2013 agit8 global music project, and serving on ONE’s Africa Policy Advisory Board. She is not only a performer, but also an incredibly creative thinker, as she seeks to explore the relationships of diverse musical cultures.
Angelique has had a big year, releasing two great albums (Eve and Afrika), with Eve being nominated for the Best World Music Album.
