For me, one of the most encouraging things about ONE is its ability to unify. Putting an end to extreme, senseless poverty is something that everyone can get behind—and as a result, work on together.
Over the past decade, the Christian community has boldly joined with ONE in facing the injustice of poverty head-on, a fight that many famous Christians have been encouraging for years. 1 John 3:17-18 says “If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”
