VIDEO: Usher performs Mercy Mercy Me / What’s Going On for agit8

Our agit8 project is getting even bigger and better.  We’re excited to have new artists joining the movement to end extreme poverty by 2030 all the time, by recording their take on iconic protest songs.

The one and only Usher is the latest artist to get involved. Check out his super smooth double-track performance of Marvin Gaye’s Mercy Mercy Me (The Ecology) and What’s Going On.

Mercy Mercy Me (The Ecology) is a protest song about human impact on the environment.  You can find out what inspired What’s Going On, and many other protest songs, on the agit8 site
