Mumford & Sons, Ed Sheeran and Macklemore record iconic protest songs for ONE

There has been an incredible buzz in all the ONE offices for days. We’ve been getting ready to launch agit8, our brand new project that harnesses the power of protest song to inspire a new generation to join the protest movement of our lifetime: ending extreme poverty.

We hoped that when we invited musicians from all around the world to cover an iconic protest song, somebody would say yes. We’ve been blown away by the response.

Over the next few days, we’ll be sharing the videos that have made ONE staff stop what they are doing and huddle round screens in excitement.  Here’s three of my favourites to get you started.

To watch more videos, create digital song art, discover the history behind the songs and much more, get yourself over to the agit8 pages.
