Idris Elba talks exclusively to ONE about what today’s activists can learn from Nelson Mandela

This is cool. Watch two smart, aspiring, young activists talk with the actors from the new Mandela movie about the power to create change.

ONE was honoured to be invited by The Weinstein Company to help promote their film, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. ONE US Campus activists Kamra Hakim and Ted Guerrero, who both visited parts of sub-Saharan Africa last year with ONE, interviewed the film’s stars Idris Elba and Naomie Harris. The stars discuss how the film changed their perceptions of the late Nelson Mandela and why it’s important to create change.

Hakim and Guerrero also were on the red carpet for the film’s NYC premiere in November.

Honour Nelson Mandela’s legacy by sharing this graphic of his words, encouraging us to be the generation that ends extreme poverty.
