Bono, S\u00e4nger von U2 und Mitbegr\u00fcnder von ONE und (RED), ver\u00f6ffentlichte folgendes Statement zum Tod von Nelson Mandela:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201eEs war so, als ob er geboren wurde, um dem Zeitalter eine Lektion zu erteilen. Eine Lektion in Demut, Humor und vor allen Dingen in Geduld. Am Ende hat Nelson Mandela uns gelehrt zu lieben, anstatt zu hassen; nicht etwa, weil er sich jemals Wut und Gewalt gegen\u00fcber geschlagen gegeben hat, sondern weil er gelernt hat, dass Liebe mehr erreicht. Mandela hat alles aufs Spiel gesetzt, seine Familie, sein Land, seine Zeit und sein Leben. Meistens hat er gewonnen. Er war aus genau den richtigen Gr\u00fcnden bis zum Ende eigensinnig, und es f\u00fchlte sich so an, als h\u00e4tte er fast seinen Sch\u00f6pfer niedergestarrt. Gestern schlie\u00dflich hat er geblinzelt.
