Carolin Welzel ist Global Health Lead bei Bayer. In dieser Funktion konzentriert sich Carolin auf die Politik des Globalen S\u00fcdens, die Verbindung zum EU Global Gateway und nationale sowie multinationale Geldgeber. Bevor sie 2024 zu Bayer kam, arbeitete Carolin 15 Jahre lang bei der GIZ und leitete dort Projekte zur Entwicklung des Privatsektors in Nord- und Ostafrika in enger Zusammenarbeit mit lokalen Regierungen und regionalen Organisationen. Vor ihrer T\u00e4tigkeit in der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit war sie sechs Jahre lang bei der Bertelsmann Stiftung als Projektleiterin f\u00fcr Unternehmensverantwortung und digitale Themen t\u00e4tig. Als ausgebildete Journalistin gr\u00fcndete Carolin Anfang der 2000er Jahre das journalistische Start-up politik-digital und wurde f\u00fcr ihre Arbeit mit dem renommierten Grimme-Preis ausgezeichnet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
