The replenishment in September 2022 saw a commitment of a historic $14.25 billion. While this fell short of the $18 billion target, it was the largest investment in a multilateral health institution ever \u2014 a huge victory! ONE and our activists were there every step of the way.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We took actions online and in person across North America and Europe, caught the attention of leaders and changemakers during lobby days and conferences, attended summer festivals to spread the word, participated in a&nbsp;<em>buzz<\/em>worthy stunt in New York City, and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-background has-neon-background-color oneorg-block-group oneorg-block-group-impact oneorg-block-group-impact--2 has-dark-color has-text-color has-link-color href=\"https:\/\/act.one.org\/sign\/global-fund-handraiser-2022\/\">56,000 petition signatures<\/a>&nbsp;from activists around the world expressing their support for the Global Fund.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our activists talked with their leaders and global players to ensure support for the Global Fund in the fight against all three diseases, including&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ONEDeutschland\/status\/1567461062101835776?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1567461062101835776%7Ctwgr%5E90221798c54a62fe5323a60cd7e1abcde64d199b%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.one.org%2Finternational%2Fblog%2Fglobal-fund-2022-recap%2F\">German Chancellor Olaf Scholz<\/a>, Gates Foundation co-chair&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CdJGBBEO3k5\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=8cefb369-f4d1-4341-a1e1-a130833caf4b\">Melinda French Gates<\/a>, members of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ONECampaign\/status\/1572593995829497856?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1572593995829497856%7Ctwgr%5Ebed88be5dffbb9e679b67d3a820bf41a3cd4f046%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.one.org%2Finternational%2Fblog%2Fglobal-fund-2022-recap%2F\">stunt in Times Square<\/a>&nbsp;on the eve of the Global Fund replenishment conference in New York to stress the importance of reinvesting in this life-saving organization.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We worked with key Global Fund advocates, like&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ONECampaign\/status\/1647993320600133634\">Maurine Muregna<\/a>, who was diagnosed with HIV in the early 2000s, to help share the real impacts of these investments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We attended a number of festivals, lobby days, pub quizzes, and more to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.one.org\/international\/blog\/global-fund-2022-recap\/\">spread our message<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We created quizzes on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/act.one.org\/survey\/gf-hiv-aids-quiz-2022\/?utm_content=blog_hivaidfacts\">HIV\/AIDS<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/act.one.org\/survey\/gf-tb-quiz-2022\/\">tuberculosis<\/a>, and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/act.one.org\/survey\/gf-malaria-quiz-2022\/\">malaria<\/a>&nbsp;to educate people on each disease and the Global Fund\u2019s mission.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We shared&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=J4hw4mUyiiE&amp;embeds_referring_euri=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.one.org%2F&amp;source_ve_path=MjM4NTE&amp;feature=emb_title\">a video<\/a>&nbsp;that explains just how many lives the Global Fund replenishment can save (spoiler alert: it\u2019s the combined populations of London, Paris, and New York combined).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div
