Man also gives back to his local community.<\/p>\n<p>In 2021, Man donated&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bigissue.com\/news\/activism\/all-the-things-afcon-winner-sadio-mane-has-done-for-charity\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&pound;500,000 to build<\/a>&nbsp;a public hospital in his home and surrounding villages in Senegal. He did this following his father&lsquo;s death, as he didn&lsquo;t want others to have the same experience he did. He has donated money towards other causes in his home village of Bambali, including a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bigissue.com\/news\/activism\/all-the-things-afcon-winner-sadio-mane-has-done-for-charity\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">new secondary school<\/a>.
