Whether you were watching <em>Tiger King<\/em> or celebrating <em>Parasite&rsquo;s<\/em> Academy Award, that date will probably live in history books for a very long time.<\/p>\n<p>That&rsquo;s because March 11, 2020 was the day that COVID-19 was officially declared a global pandemic. A lot has happened in those two years &mdash; from putting blocks of feta into pasta and kicking off the Tokyo Olympics, to schools closing because of lockdowns and global poverty increasing for the first time in years.<\/p>\n<p>Now, we&rsquo;re in the third year of the pandemic.COVID has officially turned 2. But this birthday is one that we don&rsquo;t want to celebrate next year. It&rsquo;s time that global leaders stop being such &ldquo;party poopers&rdquo; and deliver on their promises to vaccinate the world.<\/p>\n<p>Watch our video for a look back at the past two years.
