This isn\u2019t surprising, since around one-third of 15 to 35-year-olds can\u2019t get work or can only find low-skilled jobs in Nigeria. Ending corruption, improving healthcare, access to education, and investment in agriculture were also high on the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because of our petition, Vice President Osinbajo committed to creating more opportunities for young people over the next four years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-we-achieved\">What we achieved<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ONE\u2019s #VoteYourFuture campaign helped empower young people to create the future they want to see by understanding the issues that affect Nigeria and voting for a president based on their policies, not who they are.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Because of our petition, Vice President Osinbajo committed to creating more opportunities for young people over the next four years and six presidential candidates also endorsed the declaration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-background has-neon-background-color oneorg-block-group oneorg-block-group-impact oneorg-block-group-impact--2 has-dark-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-2e1eff7af1152cd5f9409a167f8634ac is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"h-impact\">Impact<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.one.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/BetterLaws_Icon_300x300-1024x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1281\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Vice President Osinbajo committed to creating more opportunities for young people over the next four years <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.one.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Care_Icon_300x300-1024x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1273\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p> Six presidential candidates also endorsed the declaration<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading no-border\" id=\"h-what-we-did\">What we did<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Determined to make their voices heard, ONE Champions, volunteers, and a host of influential speakers took #VoteYourFuture on the road, leading panel discussions and debating policies across Nigeria.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tens of thousands of young people showed up at events and rallies across the country.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Famous faces joined #VoteYourFuture, including media personality and host of Nigeria\u2019s Big Brother Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, actress Bisola, singer Banky W, and journalist Laila Johnson-Salami.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ONE partnered with TRACE, a Nigerian TV Channel, and the organisation Enough is Enough to produce a series of interviews with five of the presidential candidates who signed the Youth Declaration.
