WASHINGTON – The ONE Campaign today praised President Obama’s announcement to significantly increase US funding and resources in response to the Ebola crisis in West Africa.

Beyond the immediate toll of the crisis, ONE is concerned about the long-term effects it will have on the health and development of affected countries. We therefore urge other governments, international agencies, and the private sector to join the US in prioritizing the delivery of the supplies, human resources, and money necessary to stop this Ebola pandemic and begin rebuilding West Africa’s weakened health systems.”
