Luis Guardia is the Chief Operating Officer for the ONE Campaign where he oversees finance, human resources, development, information technology, strategy and M&E. With over 20 years’ experience in nonprofit management, Guardia has held a variety of management and leadership roles in the arts, broadcasting, international development and health care. Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President for Operations at the International Center for Research on Women (ICRW) where he directed global operations in India and Africa, overseeing business development, finance, global support services and human resources. Prior to his work in international development, Guardia served in various technology, financial, and grant making roles in public broadcasting at the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), National Public Radio (NPR) and served on the Distribution & Interconnection Committee of the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS).
Guardia holds a master ’s degrees from both the Anderson School of Management, University of California Los Angeles and George Washington University. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia. Guardia serves as board chair for Action Aid USA and serves on the boards of Mary’s Center and the Society for International Development.
Luis lives in Potomac, Maryland with his wife and two children.
