Overview

In early July, the Senate will make funding decisions critical for the fight against global poverty, while simultaneously world leaders will meet at the G8 Summit. If the Senate fully funds President Obama's request for $1.36 billion for global agriculture, this will set a powerful example for the rest of the world and spur much-needed investment in addressing the root causes of hunger.
