ONE US Executive Director Tom Hart at age 5.
This week, our friends at 5th Birthday and Beyond are celebrating the great strides that we have taken in the fight for childhood survival.
In large part due to US foreign aid, 6 million fewer children will die before their 5th birthday than just 25 years ago.
Help us celebrate the investments that the US has made in global health programs that have greatly improved childhood survival rates over the past quarter century.
Join ONE’s US Executive Director, Tom Hart, along with Hilary Clinton, Bill Gates, Senator Tom Coburn, Mandy Moore, Kay Warren, and many more who are joining in the 5th Birthday celebrations by:
– Submitting your photo to the 5th Birthday and Beyond website here: 5thbirthdayandbeyond.org
– Changing your Facebook photo to a picture of yourself at age 5, with a caption voicing your support. Example: “I’m celebrating America’s investment in global health programs and the six million children who will celebrate their #5thbday as a result!”
– Changing your Twitter avatar to your 5 year-old photo, or simply tweeting out your photo with a tweet explaining why you’re celebrating using the hashtag #5thbday. Example: “I’m posting this photo of myself to celebrate kids around the world celebrating a #5thbday. More at 5thbdayandbeyond.org.”
So go ahead, find the goofiest photo of your 5 year-old self and join us in wishing a “Happy 5th Birthday” to six million more kids!
