The recording of Jamie Cullum’s live performance of “If I Ruled the World” at ONE’s #agit8 concert in London is now available on Spotify.
For ONE’s #agit8 project, we asked top global artists to re-imagine the world’s most powerful protest songs. Those exclusive performances – made just for ONE – were only available on our YouTube channel. We released Volumes 1 and 2 of our #agit8 Spotify playlist series earlier this summer. But we are happy to announce that the final three volumes are now available on Spotify, a free music service, for your listening pleasure. (Don’t have Spotify? Get it here.)
As Bono said in an interview this week, “Music keeps the heart porous in many ways.”
Volume 3 features fresh takes on classic songs, like indie band The Lone Bellow’s cover of Buffalo Springfield’s “For What It’s Worth,” and Muse’s modern rock anthem, “Uprising.” Volume 4 includes high quality live recordings from our pop-up #agit8 concert with Jessie J, Paolo Nutini, Biffy Clyro and more in London. And Volume 5 – thanks to the support of ONE members and fans alike – features songs from some of YouTube’s most promising and talented artists, right alongside some of the biggest names in music like U2, Sting and Usher.
Listen to Volumes 3-5 in the players below, or on Spotify if you’d like.
