4 Ways to choose (RED) & help raise funds for AIDS

Fact: 900 babies are born with HIV every day. By 2015 that number can be close to zero. Isn’t that incredible? But it can’t happen without some serious willpower and action from concerned citizens like you.

Our partners at (RED) have set out to fight for an AIDS-free generation with CHOOSE (RED), a 10-day event that puts the focus on raising funds to provide life-saving treatment for people living with HIV in Africa.

From June 1 to 10, when you CHOOSE (RED), you’re actually helping to support The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria, one of the world’s major preventable disease-fighting organizations. There are so many easy ways to CHOOSE (RED) over those 10 days, there’s no reason not to join!

Choose(RED)

Here’s 4 fun and easy ways ONE members can get involved:

1. SHOP: If you feel like doing some shopping over the next few days, head to Apple and check out their stellar (PRODUCT)RED line, or spend some time on Fab.com browsing exclusive (RED) products. Tons of (RED) partners have stepped up to join in on CHOOSE (RED) – take a look at all of them here.

2. LISTEN: Once you’ve exhausted your shopping quota for the week, make sure to download the DANCE(RED) SAVE LIVES album featuring Tiësto and Bono on U2’s “Pride”, Baauer’s “Harlem Shake” and much more. All proceeds from the album go to fight AIDS. And if you need some new headphones to better experience your new album, (RED) has you covered with their super cool Beats By Dre (RED) edition headphones.

3. GO TO THE MOVIES and GET CREATIVE: (RED) will be doing something really cool with Vine, check their website for details on June 5. You can also join (RED) and AMC at the movies this week. AMC will donate proceeds from each ticket sale for lifesaving HIV medicine in sub-Saharan Africa.

4. SHOW YOUR PRIDE: Last, but not least, there is always the old, classic, (RED) standby… the beautiful (RED) beaded bracelet!

When you take a moment to CHOOSE (RED) this June, you can help provide HIV/AIDS medicine that costs as little as 40 cents a day in sub-Saharan Africa. And make sure to tell your friends via social media about how you chose (RED) this June. Your words make a huge difference in raising awareness.
