ONE Act a Week: Ask John Podesta a question about the MDGs

Action: 74. Time it takes to complete the action: 5 min. Difficulty of the action: Moderate.

Next week, John Podesta, chair of the Center for American Progress and former White House chief of staff to President Bill Clinton, will be talking to a group of top ONE members at the annual ONE Power Summit. We are thrilled to have him speak to us about the current and next set of UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and ONE’s campaign to make sure that the process for creating the new MDGs is transparent and accountable.

Even though all our ONE members can’t be at the event, we’d love for you to join in by asking Podesta a question about the MDGs.

Podesta is the perfect person to talk about this subject because he a part of the UN High Level Panel, a group of 26 civil society, private-sector and government leaders named by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. Their job is to advise on the global development agenda beyond 2015, the target date for the current MDGs.

Submit your question in the form below. We’ll give the three most commonly asked questions to Podesta to answer during the event on Monday, February 25.
