You’ve no doubt heard of tonight’s Grammy nominees for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Best New Artist. But, have you heard of the African artists up for an award? Two of our favorites, Hugh Masekela of South Africa and Amadou & Mariam of Mali, are each making headlines as nominees for Best World Music Album at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards. To congratulate both of them, we’re throwing up a few tracks from their Grammy-nominated albums. We’ve created it using Spotify, a free music service that you can download here.
Amadou & Mariam, the husband-and-wife duo from Mali, is receiving a nod for their latest album Folila (2012).
