For the past few weeks, many of you have been glued to the US media for coverage on the political candidates. But as the election comes to a close, we propose a respite from the political news extravaganza. This week, we challenge you to read something from a news publication based in Africa. It’s a good way to get some perspective on what’s happening in the rest of the world after weeks of zeroing in on US politics!
Here’s a list of some of the publications the ONE staff regularly reads online. Choose one that piques your interest and read a few stories on the website. Then, share your thoughts about their coverage in a comment below.
